Thanks guys ! The owner was blown away, he kept repeating it didn't look that good when it was new. The finish was a little rough when it arrived, I wound up going over it twice with 105. Also steam cleaned under the hood and full interior detail.

My only real complaint is the drain but I've learned to minimize spillage with a 5 gal bucket. It would be nice if they come up with a gate valve for the Mytee lite something similar to the HP60.

I also use distilled. I don't think your suppose to use anything but water in the boiler?

You want to use a little spray of pad conditioner on a dry pad before applying compound or polish to the pad. I've been using Pinnacle XMT pad conditioner, a little goes a long ways. There are many options.

Sorry I meant after compounding and polishing any sanded area it will stand out if the rest of the panel has orange peel. ;) That car is bad to the bone !

Nice repair work! Yes the CQF still looks great after 10 months. The paint must be pretty flat, often spot sanding leaves a mirror finish in the middle of an orange textured panel. It looks awesome! :xyxthumbs: Bob :)
