In the few tests that I’ve tried on bumper trim and tires with 1,2,3 and 4 coats, PERL washed right off. Like, zero durability. I doubt it would help durability on another dressing. Sent from my iPhone using AGOnline

I'm not sure about Meguiars cleaner wax because I've never used it but Mothers cleaner wax is very hard to remove. It needs to be put on VERY thin. Like, barely visible thin. Maybe just touch the wax with the pad on the machine and blip the button or don't hit the button and just turn the pad...

My 2005 Silverado has this problem. It looks like it's all the way through the lens, not just on the surface. I tried some compound and polish on a DA and it didn't help at all. I think I'll be getting new ones. Sent from my iPhone using AGOnline

It had to be when I wiped the gas tank down to clean it. The next time I cut grass I found the dead spots. Put a new gas tank and it never happened again. It's been a few years now with the new tank. Sent from my iPhone using Autogeekonline mobile app

I cleaned up my riding mower one time and cracked the gas tank somehow. [emoji35] I didn't realize it but I kept finding dead spots on the lawn. Finally tracked it down to gas leaking out of the crack in the tank. Never cleaned it again. Sent from my iPhone using AGOnline
