Just did a swirl removal on all pillars of a 2014 explorer. I just used v38 from CG and a white hex logic pad (light cut), worked great and swirl free. And yes somehow they were a mess and the car had 800 miles on it. You won't need much to correct them as they are super soft.

I use silk shine by CG. Its water based and doesn't get all caked up. Its cheap and Most times I spray and don't have to wipe. The shine lasts a good while too. I can't get hyper dressing here in Hawaii but I would probably love that stuff.

V34 does not finish well compared to v36. v36 is a strong polish whereas 34 is considered a hybrid compound. I worked with 205 two times and both times started with 105. Results were epic. I would say 205 has less cut than 36 and thus finishes better. V38 has less cut than 205 but if there were...

Ha, I saw this today as well. Thought it was kind of cheesy. I mean yeah it works this way. You could clean it the same with just water and 2 microfibers or 1 microfiber with a dry side, maybe you would need a detail brush if the car is bad to get dust and crud out of corners of screen. No hate...
