    Dodge DEMON Released...

It already had a facelift, they're getting ready for the next generation. They usually offer the special editions about a year before the complete redesign is unveiled. Most likely as a barracuda, but we'll see. Differences between the Demon and other challengers is; wider fender flares, wider...

    coating for black cars

I agree with everybody else on prep. No coatings are color specific so what it really comes down to is finishing/jeweling the paint before the coating. This is what will make the paint pop once the coating is applied. Key is to remove all waxes, fillers etc after the paint correction process. I...

carpro hydro2 LITE: streaks and spots everytime

It goes a long way though! You only use a 5%-10% solution with DI/RO. It's an extremely impressive sealant, it also darkens plastic trim, protects glass, wheels, etc. It's definitely a sealant that can last more than 6months with one application as well. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

carpro hydro2 LITE: streaks and spots everytime

I've only ever had that problem once and it was on a White F150, I used it in the sun and I missed a spot or two and it dried up. It was easily removed with a towel. I'm a big fan or Hydro2 but in my honest opinion Permanon Platinum spray sealant is so much better than Hydro2. You dilute it...

    removing morning dew

NO NEVER! If you were to dry your morning dew off with a microfiber, water spots would be the least of your worries. All that would do is smear the water and microscopic particles all over your paint, resulting in swirling and scratching the living $h*t out of it! If you wipe off morning...

    Good/best detail cleaner?

The absolute best quick spray I've ever tried is Chemical Guys Synthetic Quick Detailer, the purple stuff. It never leaves residue even when working in the sun, especially on black cars. I've tried so many different brands and even some of the other CG variations and this stuff will always be my...

Why do we polish after clay?

Because the contaminates are pulled along with the clay, leaving "clay marks" You're basically pulling and dragging microscopic particles from and across the clear coat. Typically a light polish will take this out. But proper claying techniques also apply to minimizing clay marks.

    full detail package cost

That's a DAMN Good price, I would charge over $400-$500 for all of that, just because of how many steps you are using and the amount of time spent on paint correction and other services which are usually up sold like a headlight restoration.

Non-Pro Coating Comparison Discussion: Which is the best coating available to NON-professionals?

Non-Pro Coating Comparison Discussion: Which is the best coating available to... Definitely go with C.Quartz from CarPro. It's actually meant for the DIY guy vs the professional. It's about $30-$50 I believe on AutoGeeks site. As most of us know C.Quartz Finest is the professional line, hard...

    Hello from Minneapolis

Sorry about your experience with the dealer detailers leaving swirls, those 5 years coatings are complete bs. The only real 5 year coatings I know about are from companies like CarPro and Ceramic pro. And us detailers can charge anywhere from $250-$1000 for ceramic coatings! There's tons of...
