I had both the Flex and Rupes. I sold the Flex after struggling to get good results. I personally prefer the high pad speed of the Rupes and less need to apply downward pressure. With the right pad and compound combo I can keep up with some rotary guys.

I played with M105 for a long time and never really got the hang of it. M100, FC400, Sonax Cutmax are all really good options. M100 is my go to when using wool or Microfiber pads. it will dust more but it doesn't build up in the pad like the "wet" compounds do.

I used the Rupes UHS pad and polish, nothing else. I tried Sonax EX 04-06 and Menz PF2500, both removed the oxidation but couldn't remove the swirls as well as the Rupes system.
