Merry Christmas

I would appreciate some help from you wonderful people.

I'm buying a used coupe with immaculate factory paint. It would probably still need to undergo paint correction being a 2013 model.

My delimma is that I plan to coat it and I have access to two options with relatively simmilar pricing apples-to-apples. So price is not really the factor.

Option 1: Cquartz Finest. Which is already on my other car. It comes with a singal coat and a clear bra as part of the package (Suntek) and comes with a 2-year warranty
Option 2: A less known Russian company called Kryptex. Sales man tells me it's a 10H coating. He claims it doesn't require a clear bra as it's "scratch resistant" it comes with a 3 year warranty. The shop does t do clear bras even if requested.

Here is thier website

and here is some samples of thier work

it does look shinier than my Cquartz-ed car but I might be only seeing things

my primary concern is 1- keeping less dust on my car and making it easier to wash/clean and 2-keeping it shiny. The shinier the better.

There aren't many reviews on Option 2 online but I know Russia has many outstanding technologies that don't leave thier country. My thought process is that this might be a better option that nobody knows about.

If you would so kindy help me get out of the dilemma it would be much appreciated. Basically help me choose.

thanks again and Merry Christmas

If it makes a difference at all, the car is silver.

Thanks again

Your the one spending your money go with your gut instinct. To me carpro has stapled there reputation here in the us .Seems like smoke and mirrors with that coating from Russia.

First thing, coatings will not protect againt stone chip, so get clear bra regardless.

Ive seen a few people use the Krytec, but no one shows finished results. I would go with Cquartz Finest and clear bra. They have a great reputation, and if you have any issues with the coating, you can have it warrantied much easier.

Thank you so much for the tip. Looks like I will go with Cquartz, then.

Thanks

So 10h? That means only a diamond might..... Scratch the coating. Wow, sign me up

Why not give it a try yourself? P/U a PC7424xp or GG6, some pads, some Uber or Pinnacle or Megs UC series polishes and a bottle of CQ or CQUK?
Would make for a great weekend project, you'd feel pride in doing it yourself and know this, you really can't screw it up if you follow proper methods.

The things you are being told by the Kryptex guy are what many honest professional detailers fight daily with ceramic coatings.

1. If you are on more of a budget for this car, ask your CQuartz Finest installer about CQUartz Classic instead of Finest.

2. No ceramic coating is absolute scratch proof. The best protection available for scratch and chip resistance is clear bra, hands down.

Hope this clears up some points.
