may be same problem that I had with mine. My backing plate came with a spacer(washer) app. 1/8" thick. It fell off the second time I used it, which caused my backing plate to be so close to the polisher that everytime I put the polisher against the car it would not spin. Like yours it would spin...

Will the menz. intensive polish(po91E) and Final polish (po85u) or the nano polish (po106ff) work very well with the porter cable. I have been using xmt products, but thought I would try the menz. Just not sure which menz. products to buy for daily drivers

on porus plastic,rubber,and vinyl trim, what are the more popular products to use that will not run and stain your paint when it rains and that will last.
