    Exterior Detail Timing Analysis

You do this to make money in the shortest amount of time possible. You can do this without being deceptive to your customers and...

    Mobile wash price advice needed

I should have mentioned that it would include windows and tire dressing. Maybe even a quick dash wipe down. I'll be using my foam cannon with wash and wax soap. I figured more wax could be a add on. This is Texas and big trucks rule the roads here, I'll most likely get a lot of them and the last...

    Mobile wash price advice needed

I never thought I'd say this but I'm considering offering mobile washes in my gated community. My neighborhood currently has 2000 households and soon growing to 5000. The average income here is 90k+ and the Nextdoor app gets more traffic than most of our Facebook pages. I detail on weekends only...

    Newbie messing and need advice

I wouldn't waste effort on a practice hood. The DA is really forgiving, honestly I can't imagine what you did wrong. Meg's polish is barely abrasive at all, maybe you got some dirt embedded in the pad. I've polished lots of cars with Meg's and one pad to perfection hardly remembering to clean it...

Worth getting a car cover ?

If you get a cover remember to remove it off the car properly. People will tend to roll it up over the car and get the dirt on top inside the liner. They wind up scratching it because the dirt is now rubbing on the paint when the car is covered back up.

Tiny tears in leather - fix?

I had a Maxima that suddenly got a crack on the center console lid. I tried a repair kit and never got it to look right. This was ten years ago so maybe the process is better these days. Anyway I removed the pleather cover from the lid and took it to a lady advertising sewing/repairs on CL. She...

Haha Bob it definitely feels good to have new tires, swiping my debit card to pay for them was pretty sucky though lol.

    Removing tire stubble

Well yeah I guess it bugs me a little. There's a lot of them on there, I think it'll help applying dressing if I took them off also.

    Removing tire stubble

Ok cool thanks guys, I like the razor blade idea since I did pull one off with my fingers already and it left a little bump behind. I'm definitely going to take them off so it looks nice and smooth. I've had tires with these before but never even thought about Removing them until now. After...

    Removing tire stubble

I got some new Firestones on my SUV and they have 1/4 inch rubber hairs for the lack of a better description sticking out on the side walls. Do these serve any purpose and can I pluck them off?
