just an observation but, (judging by bobs/your pics) looks like your calipers and the wheel barrels are/were painted, possibly before you obtained the vehicle? Then my guess is this is some sort of over spray, the pros will help how to fix this becauseI am not one of those. hope this helps .

just use an inline exhaust fan much like the one most have in their bathrooms. it will aid in pushing it the rest of the way outside

just form the OP's first post I thought scam. changed the number of cars frequently and used the term "for a grand total of" throughout the conversation. spells computer generated conversation to me.

My father had a 1992 caprice. His only complaint was cleaning those hubcaps. granted this was back in the late 90's when he had this trouble and neither he or the car are still with us, but what did you use to clean those caps? the car looks awesome and brought back some good memories for me.

this really is a to each your own type of thing depending of your situation. If you can fit the travel time into your current life without really missing the time lost. do It. I actually live less than 1 mile from my job but travel at least a few days a week to my girls home (only 15 miles away)...
