RUPES Mille products and pads available now!

Yeah it has to be used as a 2nd step after a regular finishing polish to get the jeweling results. That's the only way but it works unbelievably. I've never seen paint as shiny as after using millie ultrafine as a 2nd step. You can do it quickly though with a flex and 6.5" pads. Sent from my...

    Pinical or BLACKFIRE

I'd go jeweling no question. It's a great product if you want perfection. I've used it and it's a special product Sent from my SM-G970U using Tapatalk

Turtle Wax Ceramic Wet Wax (Mini-Review)

No pics? They really need to make this site easier to post pics on. Great job on the review though. I want to do one for the new ceramic 360 one step from mckees. I used it last night and did not like it.

    non-professional comparison Rupes V Griot's G15

No they made major improvements on pad stalling with the mark III. I don't know what you have read but they definitely mention it in the write up Sent from my SM-G970U using Tapatalk

SEMA 2019 New Products - New Products Coming Soon!

Anybody know an estimated date for the Rupes Uno pure? I must use this for my spring detail on the main panels. I'm going to try the new Mckees 360 ceramic for secondary panels hopefully this coming weekend.

    Flex Cordless Polisher

I'd probably go with the cordless forced rotation machine If I had to choose. I'm looking into a pixie but I might wait until the batteries get a little better. Some of my new rigid batteries are really powerful. Supposedly the new ones last 6x longer then lithium.

What did you do today, in regards to detailing?

I forgot about that I got a whole gallon around here somewhere.

Chemical Guys 15mm DA vs Max Shine 15mm

Yeah I guess they fixed it on the markIII as far as stalling which until then was a problem on all long throw machines. Technique and body lines I'm sure come onto play but my G15 stalled the second it even touched a slight elevation on my hood. I tried it a bunch of times a bunch of different...

Chemical Guys 15mm DA vs Max Shine 15mm

Let it go, it's not personal or nonsense. If you love Griots so much why don't you go marry him? I take care of my tools and a lifetime may be a stretch but good top quality tools that are well maintained last a very long time.

What the heck did the dealer spray on my car

Just want to throw this out there. I know dealerships mess up a lot of cars but it seems illogical that so many people think they have paint over spray from being in a dealership parking lot. It's not like dealerships are out there painting cars in the lot?

What the heck did the dealer spray on my car

God only knows what could have gotten on to the paint. I just want to give you a tip about the spots that you can't see until wiping them with something wet. Whatever they are, stains on the coating? The IGL precoat took them off my car and it's the only thing that ever has. Its a prep spray...

Chemical Guys 15mm DA vs Max Shine 15mm

I have the Griots and the MarkIII and it's no comparison. The mark III is better in every way especially as far as stalling. I know a lot of fellow posters get very upset when I say this but it is my 100% honest opinion. I don't have anything against Griots at all and I already know a lot of...

Chemical Guys 15mm DA vs Max Shine 15mm

Sell both and get a Rupes MarkIII. It should last a lifetime so why by second rate tools? At least thats my philosophy.

What did you do today, in regards to detailing?

I bought a 6 pack of the new mckees ceramic products. They are having a nice little sale over there. I was going to bu 3 things that came to 104 bucks. Then I saw the sale for 6 items from the new collection for 125 bucks. No brainer for me mckees makes great stuff. I don't know why autogeek...

    Rupes Mille

The milli pads are super thin especially compared to the flex hybrid pads. I don't like them at all buy also have not used them on the millie

    Rupes Mille

The mark 3 doesn't stall at all compared to any other long throw. It's quite impressive to me. I haven't used the mille but I use a flex and it is indispensable. The flex and the mark 3 are the dream team. The flex has a learning curve and its easier to get used to if you use the 5.5 hybrid...

    Gtechniq I2 + P&S Carpet Bomber + P&S Enzyme + P&S Peroxide Finisher + Carpro Clarify + CarPro GlassFiber

I like pinnacle rubber and vinyl cleaner and conditioner. It's the best I've found plus it cleans. A lot of stuff just protects. The old pinnacle brand stuff works better than the black label stuff. The original glass cleaner and rain repellent works way better than the new black label stuff...

    Gtechniq I2 + P&S Carpet Bomber + P&S Enzyme + P&S Peroxide Finisher + Carpro Clarify + CarPro GlassFiber

What did you do with the tri-clean the doors and dashboards? I'm going to use this later but I was thinking more for fabric. If you use it on the dashboards it has no UV protection or anything like that. I'd probably put something else over it?

Carpro Hydro2 foam dilution, Am I crazy?

Wow both of those ways are clever. I do have a small Ik foamer I could use. Still ridiculous that they expect you to use three small bottles of shampoo for one 3 gallon bucket wash. False advertising to me. Also I am probably going to skip it because I get the feeling from you guys that it's...

Carpro Hydro2 foam dilution, Am I crazy?

The directions clearly state that this can be used as a hand washing soap. Even if I put it into a foam cannon at 1:9 in the bottle the finial dilution coming out of the cannon would be far lower then that. What am I missing here? I would like to use the bottle I bought. CarPro HydroFoam
