I am slowly preparing this thread on my good friend's 2012 Jaguar XF, must detail it inside/out over a month ago but lately no time for nothing.
On Friday we spoke again I pushed it into next week but who knows what will happen so no promise.
I think it's paint called Polaris White, polar bear got 385HP & is a very good performing/looking car in general. I read reviews about this car on Jaguar forums in UK people there say it's very rare in UK 5L engine as most XF got smaller engines, also they mentioned XF 5L S/C 470HP & said there is almost no difference with XFR, the difference can be only seen rolling it onto Nürburgring or other motorsport complex, XFR got only 510 HP
BTW in Tel-Aviv this car when new cost about 150,000$ for XF 5L Sedan model
Now what my friend Eli says about this Jaguar: wonderful car overall, I always go faster than I should in the city & highway as I don't feel it accelerates so strong when I press gas pedal a bit, very performance sensitive...the only problem was last week when he had 2 hours + drive non stop, he says seats are not so comfortable going for long trips, you really feel it when you open the door & stand up.
This is exactly what forum guys in UK said, ordering XF 5L or XF 5L S/C ( I speak about 1st generation Jags XF, today they make only 3L engines, that sucks) ask for XFR seats that cost there extra 1500 £ & a more comfort.
He also owns Lexus LS 460 says you can't compare comfort, Lexus is King. Both cars by the way got V8 engines & same 385HP.
So into the pics - ( aha, one other thing car got I think 45,000km on the clock) 2012 Jaguar XF 5.0L before detailing by me, Shark
Kids stole Jaguar chrome plated plastic mascot
Seats are not good, if Jaguar don't get it immediately their engines will go down from 5L to 3L like now & then they will go bust as a brand
It runs on nice & rare 5W20 motoroil which can also be substituted with 5W30, I added my bro some power steering additive, radiator additive & winshield washer concentrate
So this is what responsibility I got right now, when I only think about the work ahead...no comment.
I hope will find time & powers to make my very good friend happy & proud Jaguar XF 5.0L owner.
Thanks for taking your time people to watch before pics :nomore:
P.S. I love Jaguar but only when it is brought to Arden Tuning in Krefeld, Germany for interior/exterior/performance upgrades
