This belongs to my girlfriends dad

It is a stock corvette, he will be trading it in on a new 2008 model. He came to visit so I rubbed on it a little for him.:D

The Wash
Optimum car soap, after it was then clayed with clay magic blue clay.

Wheels and Tires
Optimum car soap, a wheel brush and the '16 Deep Reach Wheel Brush(a must have for these rims)

Tires
Pinnacle's Black Onyx Tire Gel

The Gameplan
Nothing to intense here, just a polish. The PC with a WG white pad and Menz. 106FF
Once that was done, I pulled out the Pinnacle Souveran. And bam it glowed.

Outstanding as usual. Why is the 16" brush a must for those rims, if I may ask.

Looks really nice, like the color. Is that one of those colors that change in the sun light? By the last picture it looks that way.

Lately I've seen so many Vetts around town, they look nice...never driven a Vett...I would love to detail one though...okay Lauren get that Vett ready for me ;)

Very nice results, thank you for sharing.

Because it makes it easy, to reach all the way through the rim. To clean inside the rim real well. With out getting your hands real dirty:D

Cleaning the rims is evil.
My husband helped for the FIRST time 2 days ago, and he started whining when I showed him where and handed him the brush!!
No joke.

ED is the man!

Drooling....
Ed, mine won't ever look like this!!!
Can't you just fly out here?

Great job Ed! The paint looks like it's in excellant shape.

RSurfer, The 16' brush work's great on wide wheels.

Thanks for the reply Ed and Gary, but it didn't look very deep or wide in the pic., so thats why the question.

All of your details are beautiful. Your gf's father must have been happy with his car after you were done. Looks great, Ed.

Sweet Ed :D I like the color, souveran made it go up a level! Menzerna + souveran rocks!

That looks amazing, however all these acronyms make my head spin... I'll have to look for a sticky somewhere that covers them all.

You mean these --PC with a WG white pad and Menz. 106FF

PC--porter cable
WG-- wolfgang
Menz-- Menzerna
106FF--Menzerna micro polish po 106FF

Looks great! Looks like an orange-yellow tint in that paint when the sun hits it in certain angles. Love it! Menz and Souveran:righton:

Now that is really showing off what Souveran can do!

you have to see this color in person to understand how truly spectacular it is. It has a pearled Clear Coat. With Souveran it just drips sexy !

Now thats one way to put it.

That looks really really nice. Good job.

I only use souveran paste like every 3 or 4 waxes now cuz of the cost and mostly because when i do put it on I'm always surprised again by the sexiness. oh yea!

Beautiful work, she's driping wet....:applause:
IMO the best pic!
