'02 Mustang

I went through the same thing when I was 18, except mine was a '90 vert. Everytime I got stopped for no apparent reason other than having a modded car it pissed me off. Do yourself a favor and just go with it.

Back on topic.

Looks great man. These black cars are a disease. Every time I've gotten another car I've said "Yeah, not going to be black this time." They take the most, but they give the most sort of thing.

Because they are nonmoving violations, I can just pay them. They knew about the first like 2 tickets but the recent ones they dont know about. If they did, I would be dead. :xyxthumbs:

Ill let him go through the trouble to get a warrant to search my car, Ill laugh when he doesnt find anything.

Whats with the bashing now? They stereotype so I dont care about them. Just cause I'm a 18yo with a nice car they come for me. They dont know that I'm going to school for civil engineering. They dont know the various academic awards Ive won, the detailing service I provide, the kind acts I do in public, they dont know any of that. If I cop calls me a Dbag, dumb@$$, and a punk- then I think I have the right to think the way I do.

Can we just stop here? I love it how people bring crap upon me because of my car. Good god I cant wait to get older and get out of the stereotyping and profiling.
:iagree:with you to some degree. You maybe stereotyped because of your age, but then again maybe not because they can't even see you thru that tint.Im the MAN

Spoken like a true teenager. They have laws for a reason. In another post you said you just wanted to give the cops a hard time. You need to grow up.

+1. I have a degree in Admin. of Justice and if you have a car that looks like that it is asking for trouble plain and simple. Yes, I had a lowered truck and it was loud and fast when I was younger from 16-21 yrs. old. Many of my buddies are in law enforcement and some family members are as well. One day I hope to get in myself. If I seen your car I would pull you over in a heartbeat. Ask if you know why you are being pulled over? If you are honest I would probably give you a warning. Then ask what kind of mods do you have. If you are an arse you will get the book thrown at you. All police officers want to do is go home at the end of their shifts and jerks that are out their make it difficult. And BTW they don't make the laws they were "sworn" to uphold them. If you don't like them get into politics and get them changed. Rant over! BTW, nice job on the paint. And those pads are tiny what size are they?

Nobody is bashing you bud. We are given you insight and a few others I won't mention cause they know who they are. When you look like a duck, quack like a duck, walk like a duck, you are indeed a duck. In all seriousness I would say we have all had a bad attitude towards law enforcement at one point or another, but that is because we don't simply know what they deal with on a daily basis and the damn freaking biased media that portrays them as evil, not as heroes as they should be. They are simply doing their jobs and again see my post above. And stereotyping and profiling is part of life law enforcement and military must do it to keep us safe and things peaceful. This has been going on since the being of time and it is especially gonna continue in the day and age we live in. And trust me bud being young and having no worries is the life. Once you get older boy does it get tougher. And this is coming from an almost 27 yr. old who got laid off in Sept., is going back to school to learn to weld, is married, referees hockey until midnight Mon-Fri., and has a our 1st baby on the way in July. Trust me life isn't always peachy, but a little breathing a praying with a great attitude goes a long way. :xyxthumbs:

Just FYI, pray you don't have Progressive insurance. It WILL show up as an insurance premium hike for having window tint that's too dark. I have first-hand experience with this. I got 13 tint tickets with the same attitude as you, thinking all I would need to do is pay them and I'd be fine until the next Progressive bill I got...my insurance went from $78 a month to $450 a month SOLELY because of tint tickets I received, and those damn tickets will add up to a TON of money in the long run.

Some police officers are cool, some are douche-bags but I firmly believe they really want to enforce the laws properly, but sometimes fall a bit short on personality while doing it. Good luck though and beautiful car.

I have State Farm. I dont think insurance changes with all my nonmoving violations. My dad hasnt chainsawed my head off so I must be fine.

True. Some officers are cool. I have had an actual conversation with like 1 or 2 cops. They were cool.

Adrock you provide a ton of amazing detailing info, but take it easy bud! Sorry but I take offense to that comment. Is it because they are wearing a uniform, carrying a gun, looking for rapist, murders, gang-bangers, thugs, people breaking the law? Does this make them a douche bag? I think not! Maybe it is because they deal with this on a daily basis and have to put up with DOUCHE BAGS of society they themselves turn a bit harsh or abrasive. I would love for everyone that hasn't please feel free to do a ride a long on a busy Fri or Sat night and then you won't call them D-bags anymore.

Hey man, I appreciate you reading my posts and gaining some knowledge, first and foremost, but let me explain myself here. I would love for most management to get on a phone on a daily basis with me while I deal with irrate IT customers talking down to me because they're having a bad day with their computer and I'm the verbal punching bag hey decide to take their anger out on, but if I were as much of a douche-bag to the customers as they are to me, then I would never have a job. Just because you're surrounded by idiots, a'holes and criminals all day doesn't give them the right to treat everyone like crap, just like people treating me, the computer tech they're calling for help, like garbage either. I'm not saying ALL police officers are douche-bags, I said SOME are douche-bags, but that applies to all people in general and not just because they're police officers.

If I were being completely offensive, believe me, there are many other words for police officers that are almost as offensive as the numerous slang words thrown around by racist people to get a rise from whichever race they're hating that day, but I'm respectfully calling them police officers.

I respect the people who answer the call to stand up and enforce the country's laws, but like I said, having to deal with bad people doesn't give you the green light to be an a'hole.

Anyway, getting off-topic, let's get it back on track. Great detail, awesome looking car! Wish I had paint on my car that nice, I'd probably detail my own too, but the wife's Saab will have to suffice.

OK, this thread is now way :offtopic:

I offically dont like my own thread.

Guys, come on. Seriously? This is a car forum, not a parenting forum, or an "I do or don't like cops" discussion forum. I'm rather disappointed with the attitude of several forum members toward both the OP and law enforcement. This is not the place for it. I for one don't want to hear it, and I know there are others who don't either. Remember the old proverbial, "If you can't say something nice, then don't say anything at all." We're here to discuss cars and detailing, and friendly topics in the Off Topic area. If 02blackout wants to tint his whole car and he doesn't care if he gets pulled over and ticketed all the time, then that's his prerogative. Let it go at that, and let's get back to discussing our love of detailing. Rant over. :)

The car looks mean as hell! I love it! Keep up the good care.

Awesome pictures too!

Yes, it is a detailing forum, but when a can of worms gets opened then it is open season. I know I can be harsh at times, but I take to heart when people bash any law enforcement, military, or public safety.

Now show me some more pics of your murdered out sweet Stang! :dblthumb2:
