I received a call from my client, telling my he wanted his vette to have a look of like butter. It has been sitting in the dealer's service bay for the last 5-6 weeks. With the windows down, and in full blown pollen season:mad:. It was having a new cam put in. All I can say is when he started it up is --Oh my :D a very sweet sound.

It was the dirtest I have ever seen it. Pollen all over it, dust/pollen inside. And an oily type of drips on the roof.

The Tires/wheels

Optimum car wash, a wheel brush and the 16" Deep Reach Wire Wheel Brushes
for these deep rims.

Tires

Pinnacle Black Onyx Tire Gel

The Gameplan

Optimum car wash, then DP Final Gloss spritzed on to help sheet of water and guzzler.
I choose Optimum Polish and a Edge green pad. I spread at 3-4 then up'd it to speed 6
Wiped off with cobra jr. mf.
Owner pulled the car into the garage for me to apply the Pinnacle Souveran paste wax.
Since the sun was directly on the car.
Applied one panel at a time, then removed.

Interior

Dash/door panels/console received the DP Interior Surface Protectant. (I'm really liking this stuff)
Leather received PB Leather Stuff. Vette Essentials interior(shifter/brake sleeve, console pad) received PB Leather Stuff also.

The mods he has on his
'03 Black on Black Z06
Vararam,LG Headers,GHL Bullets and X-Pipe,RipperShifter
Ported Thottle Body w/ Bypass and CF airbridge
Vette Essentials interior
Vengeance Racing Vindicator Cam & Springs
Vengeance Racing tuned 432rwhp 409rwtq
Lowered & Tinted

And yes, I had to lie on the driveway to shine up the pipes and cans

Did you work on the paint?

Looks beautiful Ed!! :applause:

He got more than butter, he got lard :D (j/k lol). Man it looks like I can take a dip in the paint. I wonder how it will look like after the SOuveran cures :)

I'm really curious how Souveran would of worked if you left the car out. Since it's WOWO, I wonder if would be that difficult?

When I put my hand on the paint, it was very hot. Dry time would have been instant. With the hot paint and dried wax, I didn't want to induce any new micro scratches while removing it. So we put it in the garage, to cool off. Then it was wowo time with the souveran

i love how Chevy's premiere sports car can't hold its own tail pipes level... must be a Domestic car thing...

That's obviously not the stock exhaust so no need to knock GM, or any other domestic manufacturer.

As for the detail, it looks great! :applause:

You forgot to dry that Corvette, it's still all wet!!!

Looks like a bang-up job, very nice!

He's not on AGO. He is on a few corvette forums though

Most of the aftermarket exhaust systems are adjustable in 2-4 different areas. Its hard to keep them adjusted after heat cycles. I'm continually bitchin bout it! :o
