OK, I had to make my better half happy for the PC I bought a few weeks ago, so last week I polished her car. Well she had an Idea after seeing the results of her car.

Washed Dawn 1 bucket method.

No Claying.

IPA wipe down.

PC with Orange LC pad Menz SIP.

IPA wipe.

LSP Counter Magic wipe down.:)

And yes, I could not take out the deeper swirls and knive marks. But the island looks good, now she wants me to do the rest of the kitchen.

big difference at all? Looks impressive, but how much of a difference does it make? We've got a lot of marble and granite counters that may need that to improve resale.

Looks great, you been hanging around Gary:D...He done his last year....

HiMacs is like Corian, man-made solid surfacing, not true stone.

It did make a big difference, just couldnt get the deeper scars out. Next time I think I will go over with a 1000-1500 grit paper first then maybe a compound.

Yep it is man made, we cook a lot and bang up the kitchen so the counters take a beating. I think with granite I would first try 106ff to see how that goes.
