04 C230 customer want no correction but i just did a full correction

Hi guy just want to share this. This customer just want all in one. i give the price and he said ok. And ask how much for interior i said i will just to it for free customer is so happy about it. This guy is so nice and polite. he drop the car sunday afternoon I'm not doing anything so i did a full interior not just vacuum which the customer want.
next as im looking with his car i realized that this sleeping beauty is sleeping for a long time. So what i did i decided to to do a full correction no extra charge when the customer got his car the happiness and smile in his face is priceless. Which for me is most rewarding.

If I'm reading this right you did everything for free? I'm sorry I would never do a full paint correction free that at least $400 out my pocket never going to happen. You time is worth something.

Sorry i mean i charge 150 just for all in one. his car is in bad shape but he said i dont care with that i just want protection and make it shine. i will post picture later
 
I hope he knows that you did more than an AIO so next time he's not expecting more when he asks for an AIO...lol One thing for sure....you have one happy customer that will be giving out your phone number to family and friends when they need a detail. On top of it all it was a nice thing to do for a nice person.
 
One last thing...I'm a nice person. So how much you charge for car wash...I want the special 49.99 car wash that makes it clean, shiny, with all surface defects like swirls, rids and scratches gone. lol Good job

Thank you guys. For me i always surprise my customer and you will be amaze what can happy customer can do to your business. Surprise your customer and you will be surprise how your business will get busy. I just can't stand to see a beautiful car not showing its true beauty.
 
Beautiful job. You have one lucky customer.

I too, get the itch of seeing a neglected car and want to correct it. Sometimes you have to get your worth though and most times the customer will not appreciate it.

I'm sure if we all had our way as detailing pro's or hobbyists, every car in the world would already be shining with the maximum correction.
 
First of all, your kindness isn't taken for granted - it always comes back. Your work is great and you will no doubt have many referrals from this.
 
Great job, and you never know doing the full correction might bring in a lot of business for you. He has friends and I bet their cars are dirty! ;)

You just added a very nice car to your portfolio and you will see the returns of your "investment"!
 
GREAT JOB!!!:dblthumb2: Sometimes in bussiness no just how much money we make. Maybe a HAPPY CUSTOMER is all it's need (this kind of job u can become an idealist sometimes) a hobby become bussiness:D
 
Great work but I must ask, did you try to upsell? When he picked it up did you take it upon yourself to tell him what you had to do to get it to look like that? I mean doing some things for free is cool but an interior detail AND paint correction and then an LSP. I have Griot's All in One paint sealant and I know this, it wouldn't do all that but its what I'd use if that's all he wanted. For me to do something like this it would have to be a customer who sends me a lot of work, YOUR time is valuable!

when the owner come to my place. He ask my price and i said if you want correction 250 and for all in one 150 and i explain the difference. he said i just want it to be shiney and protected. By the way i dont offer mobile all my customer bring there car to me. 150 is to low for correction and interior. But i just want his car to be awake. And compete head to head with others by the way he tip 15:-) before when im still working as a tech i can earn 100 to 300 in les than 5 hours. This is when im still single and no baby.
