Hello folks 
I know if you're looking at this thread you enjoy perusing detail jobs just as much as I do, so I just wanted to share some pics of my first machine polished detail for you to (hopefully) enjoy :xyxthumbs: This is my personal daily driver, which unfortunately sits outside 24/7. I took an interest in detailing earlier this year so my car was actually in pretty decent shape before this detail. I know Mike P says "the power is in the before shots", but I didn't waste much time on getting those shots because she looks pretty good even in the before shots :laughing:
Anyways, if you're interested in my system here are the details in chronological order:
- Washed using ONR in a 2 bucket system and hand dried with Cobra MFs (non WW)
- Clay bar treatment using Megs OTC clay bar and ONR as a clay lubricant
- Quick second ONR wash to clear off lubricant
- Wheels cleaned with DP Cleanse All
- Dressed with DP Gloss Tire Gel
- Chicago Power Tools rotary buffer with a Megs 5.5" backing plate and 6.5" Soft Buff 2.0 yellow polishing pad
- Compounds used were Poorboy's SSR 3 and Megs Ultimate Compound
- Topped with DP Poli-Coat Sealant
- Black trim treated with Mothers Back to Black and Megs Ultimate Protectant
- Jambs cleaned with Simple Green APC and DP Cleanse All
