Had a somewhat unique Mercedes in the shop the other day. This 05 E320 is a CDI diesel model. The owners use it as there daily driver in the summer months. Overall its in nice shape but it really had never been properly detailed. The paint wasn't too bad being silver but it was one of the models with the factory rock hard ceramic clear. To keep in the clients budget a heavy one step correction was decided on. Now if this wasn't silver a 2 step would have been in order but with the lighter silver paint the heavy one step worked out great.

Wash/Decon

Hyperwash, Meguiars Iron decon, Nanoskin light duty towel

Engine bay

LATA, Hyper dressing

Wheels/Tires

Mckees foaming wheel cleaner gel, LATA, Meguiars Iron decon, Hyper dressing

Correction- One step correction with Rupes 21 Mark ll, Megs microfiber cutting pad, Griots Fast correcting cream.

LSP- IGL Premier

Interior- Mckees leather shampoo, Mckees total interior cleaner, Mckees carpet and upholstery cleaner. IGL Fabric protectant.

Headlights- lightly polished and coated with IGL Eclipse.

Great work!

Is the cdi an unusual engine option in the US in a MB? Or is it that's in a bigger E-class?

Here in Sweden it's more common with a diesel engine than a gas engine when it's a MB DD. Fun to see the difference between countries and what's common in one and not common in another.

Hahaha. This was done on Monday before the snow. But even so it's all melted and gone here. We only got 3in or so here.
