05 Ford Expedition - a Zaino Detail

Ok lets just get this out of the way right now.
It the photographer not the camera.
If I came over your house and your wife cooked me dinner and it was great, should I ask what kinds of post and pans she uses or assume she is a good cook.?
:iagree:
I am going to have to agree, camera is only about 10% of the outcome. Photographs are created by the photographer, not the camera, so on that note you are taking great pics!

Looks awesome! I am a zaino user and love it to death. i found that if you spray the z6 or z8 on a towel first and cover the section with the wet side then flip it to the dry side and go over it, it dosent streak.

Marcus
Thanks! I'll try that next time. I did find that after the towel got a little wet I wasn't using using the spray bottle, and was working it in just like you suggested.

Thanks for the complement! It is a good little camera, after I took the pictures and then downloaded them, I realized I had it on iso 400, so that is why it is so grainy and crappy looking. oh well, what can you do. Maybe one day I'll have my 30D or D70 :) with a 28-300mm :righton:

funny example BTW, I'm going to use that sometime.

I'm not sure where on earth the above comment is coming from. I'm looking for a new camera and liked the shots that he took. I'm not saying he's not a good photographer, just wondering what he uses.

What's with all the sensitive people here recently?

You did take some good photos there!!! keepem coming.
And ya a 30D would be nice I havent up graded yet. I'm still shooting with digtal Rebel. Maybe in a year ot two..........

I would recomend the G5, it's a great little camera. Does what it needs to do, I just wish I had an SLR.

Thanks Frugle, appreciate the comment. I'm looking at a Rebel XTi myself, but of course I'd rather have something like the 30D or 20D. But it's the $$$ we're talking about here, HAH! Right now I have a Sony DSC-F707 which was top of the line a few years and still does a stellar job...

You can get a digi rebel XT for about $700 right now right? It is pretty easy (For me) to find a 10D for about 450, and a 20 for about 900... A lot of my photographer friends upgrade when a new one comes out, so they let theirs go for pretty cheap. If you look around, I'm sure you could get a nice used 20D for the same price as a new Rebel XT.

I have a detailing question: What can I use on the tires to make the words turn white again? In the past, my mom has always (for years without any noticable problems) used soft scrub to make the tires white. and seems to work really well. I'm just to scared to use bleach on the car.../

what do you guys recomend? Chemical Guys VRT did an incredible job getting rid of random marks on the interior plastic/vinyl, (and the running board) would it be able to make the words white do you think?

I tell ya what P1et (bang for buck) you CANNOT beat the XTI....I'm really wanting a powershot myself...........an SLR can only go so many places.
I can stick a powershot in my pocket and go...........But if your looking at an entry level SLR XTI is the way to go.....I'll recommend B&H for a purchase.

B & H is a great place to purchase, I will leave everyone a great link to look at camera reviews. This site has been around for awhile.

actually it's not black, its a carbon color... almost a dark brown. really cool new color. I like it, I think it looks a lot better than black.

About the zaino... I spent almost 300 dollars in the autogeek store buying the 7424 and polish. Are you saying I don't have the right to post because I topped it with another product? This is listed as a detailing forum, not an autogeek product discussion board.

I can completely understand if I came advertising my car with only zaino, and only ever using zaino, and saying it was a whole lot better than anything on the market. I'm not.

The waterspots were on the paint (hood mainly) and windows (side rear windows).

thanks for all the comments!

This board was setup to advance the user's of Autogeek and thus with the products of Autogeek. We once allowed a very open forum to discuss all products and at length. Problem ... well it became so when a few people got into very heated arguements. So we decided to pull in the reigns abit and allow outside products to be touched more as "wanted" items versus full blown reviews with pics endorsing another product.

Autogeeks name and banner is at the top of all pages for a reason, to remind the user that it is owned and operated by Autogeek. The Terms and Conditions also warned/discussed of this at length. Now I am sorry your offended, but their are boards that promote Zaino and boards that promote detailing, and boards that promote a business (Autogeek, Poorboys). Please remember this when posting in all areas of Autogeek.
