'05 Porsche Carrarra S with Souveran

The owner travels every week, so it is a garage queen. With about 3K miles on it

He saw me a few times at this location, doing a some rides. Asked for a B.card and called me a few days later, to make an appointment.

The Interior
After vacuuming everything. DP Interior Surface Protectant was used on a few interior parts. Leather was cleaned with a water/woolite mix. Then conditioned with Danase leather Rx.

The Wash
Op car wash and the white/yellow Shmitt. After it was almost dry , then it was clayed.

Wheels and tires
Same soap as wash, the 16" wheel brush and a wheel brush. The 16" deep reach wheel brush is great for these rims. One pass of Surf City Tire Pro on tires after.

The Gameplan
The PC and a 5.5 white polishing pad and Optimum polish. The owner wanted a wax put on after the polishing. He didn't want a sealent, so I chose Pinnacle's Liq. Souveran. Put it on the whole car, then removed it with a cobra deluxe jr. mf.

all the beautiful cars with the best wax don't have sunshine on their pics!!! darn weather...I just ordered my souvern paste/dgps kit and im gonna try it on this F430 and Carrera GT next week..hopefull this cali weather stays sunny and ill be able to show pics too..LOVEEEEEEE the car, yanna what car looks good too is the GT2 and the Caymans...they got sick ass curves that catch light perfectly!

Can I ask why you used 5.5inch pads instead of the standard 6.5inch pads? I have 2 of the exact same pad available, and want to know when to use them?

How was the paint before?

I never really liked Porche's but after detailing one and having it for about a week or so I have to admit they are great vehicles. I now have a better appretiation for these vehicles.

Vehicle looks great, always enjoy seeing the work you do.

I drove the Porche a bit, not as much becuase I felt bad driving another persons vehicle but yea I know what you mean about appreciating it more after driving it. I would love have loved to let my friends Porche loose on the track though man I can just imagine that bad boy taking those corners. They sure handle great. Like I said sure made me appretiate all those Porche owners, I used to say oh great there goes another Porche but after driving one and detailing I actually noticed the attention to detail and the craftmanship that goes on those Porche's. Well just my opinion....actually I'm thinking I'd rather have a Porche as a track vehicle then that 1991 Lambo Diablo

They are just like the 6.5 pads. I didn't feel like changing out the 5 inch backing plate, to the 6 inch. So I used the 5.5 pad And I have 3 of them to use. It worked just fine, like the 6.5 would.

The paint was in great shape
