Well everyone, I did this detail a little over a month ago. . . and its just taken me this long to post the pictures up somewhere accessible.

This is my 2006 Dodge Charger R/T with what Dodge calls "Magnesium Pearl" paint.

As I said this is my car, and except during the winter it was kept up with bi-weekly washes and monthly applications of Gold Class paste. Over the winter I studied AGO (:awesome:), and AG.net regularly and got into this higher end of detailing.

Sorry, I didn't take any before pictures (I wasn't sure I was going to post to the show & shine).

These pictures are after wash with Meg's GC, Meg's Clay, XMT360 applied by PC, and Liquid Souveran on top. Wheels are cleaned and glazed by DP, but the rubber is shined by Eagle-One (gotta clear out the old supply, you know?). Interior was done separately due to time.

For those who want to know where I'm going: The next detail will be DG 901, 360, and 2 coats of LS. Wheels cleaned and glazed by DP and rubber shined by DP. The car is garaged and I'm very careful when I was it so I hope to not use any polish, and if I do XMT2 at the most.

Feed back please

Nice work right there :D I love the new charger!!

my coworker has a silver SRT8 --- she used Shield Shine by DP on it at my request, and they cannot say enough. Super reflective yet noticable metallics.

Thanks for all the positive feedback. I love this car. Actually, a post on ChargerForums.com was what led me to the AG side.

killr - How is the DP Shield for durability? I'm looking for a winter sealant/maintenance sealant, I just haven't heard much about the DP Shield. I was planning on AW & LSS.

Thanks again!

Well, I'm no Killr but I've been using DP shield (the old version) and LOVE it. It's super-easy to use and the slickness is great. As far as durability, I would say it is not as good as KSG but I still get at least 6-8 weeks of slickness (therefore the assumption is protection) out of it.

I have a bottle of the new/improved version but haven't used it yet.:o

8-12 weeks of protection which is typical of most sealants. The newer version is remarkably more glossy looking. Look for my post on Ernies Xterra for pics.

Looks great. Those cars are cool.
That Flkr thing is neat too - yah, guess I have fallen behind the times!!
Can I ask what kind of mileage you get with that? Is it pretty fast?

Thanks for the all kudos! I love this car! Thanks for the info on DP Shield, I'll look into that other post.

I don't get great mileage, in fact I get less than most people on the forums do. I'm averaging around 17 mpg on pretty evenly mixed (but most always spirited) driving (forum average seems to be 19-21 mpg).

But it's pretty fast. Its been modified a bit (CAI, T-Stat, SuperChips) and it came with the Road & Track Performance Package (upgraded suspension, exhaust, brakes, & steering box, etc). I don't know how to tell you how fast it is since I don't have any slips or dyno pulls. I know when I hit the Go pedal she moves.

Hey ParaDog - weren't you on LXForums a week or two back offering detailing help to those in Jersey?
