06 mustang finish

can anyone out there tell me what kind of finish is on an 06 mustang? i have a black mustang with a pretty good finish to start with and i dont want to use something to harsh or to weak in regards of getting the swirl marks, etc. out. thanks in advance.

Medium to hard, the one I did I had to use wool on the rotary with M105 and use a good bit of pressure.

Smartass, I used a much better rotary. I don't use cheaply made tools.Im the MAN

Sorry Mthorn i hope you got your answer which is very hard to get out of Asphalt Rocket but if someone knows Mustangs he does.Even if he doesn't like Makita's

yes i did. it sounds like i need to use a heavier compund, heavier pad, and more pressure. good to know. thanks.

SIP and a light cutting pad is all you will need to remove over 95% of the swirls on mustang CC.

If they are very light swirls I would agree, otherwise you will need more than SIP and a cutting pad.
