I took advantage of the long weekend and decided to do paint correction. I should have taken pictures before but when it comes time to start, I never do.

Here was my process using the Flex3401:

Thursday - 5 Hours
Wash
Speedy Pro Surface Pad (Clay)
Wolfgang Über Compound - LC Hydro Cyan

Friday - 5 Hours
Wolfgang Finishing Glaze - LC Hydro Tangerine

Saturday - 3 hours
Pinnacle Black Label Surface Cleansing Polish - by hand
PBL Diamond Paint Coating (12 hours to cure) - by hand

Sunday - 1 hour
PBL Diamond Paint Sealant - LC Hydro Crimson

I am tired, let me tell you but I'm really stoked about the results. Still consider myself a rookie, tell me what you guys think?

By the way love the WG & PBL products. So much easier and more forgiving than my previous combo M105/M205...
 
Few things made in the US of A more beautiful than a freshly polished black Mustang!

Thanks! I'm amazed how the pros can essentially do what I did in one day! :buffing:

Me too! I'm nervous how it's going to look. Hopefully they don't do anything too radical.

The car looks great. Keep up the good work. If you have some, I'd enjoy seeing some full-car shots. If the wheels shown in your avatar are from the mustang I'm sure it looks awesome.

Sweet, I'm usually biased towards the '11 to '14 models when it comes to S197 models but your car is clean! It truly is a very nice looking stang and Im sure with the help of AGO it will stay looking its best. Keep up the good work.

Thanks, I'd love to get a 5.0 but I also love not having a car payment! Getting married in August, otherwise, I'd have a Whipple installed...love AGO:buffing:
 
Looks good! I am into mustangs and I have to say I have not seen that many nice ones lately except for the ones my brother use to have and that thing is nice that is the nicest one I have seen in awhile
 
I mean your mustang re read it and sounded like I was talking about another one lol :)

Thanks man I appreciate it. I've always taken great pride in keeping my ride looking clean, detailing and overall looks. For the longest time was a Chevy guy till I seen the 05 model, I told myself its time to get a mustang. Been happy ever since...

The 5.0's out of the box are powerful but like you said the car payment is the downfall unfortunately! You can have a 4.6 running with the 5.0's with minimal work. Nothing quite like the whine of a Whipple!

Is that a Nuerburgring tattoo on your fore arm?

Thanks Mike! Actually its a tiger, although it could pass! Cant wait to try BlackICE. I used CG Black but ehh, dust magnet!
