Based on what I am reading the grill on the front of my Acura is not metal, maybe chrome, maybe something else. I bought never dull but since the grill is not a metal this will ruin it. Any thoughts on what would be a good product to clean and polish the grill?

I assume that my rims are chrome and never dull would be okay? Or would you recommend a different cleaner/polisher for my rims.

Thanks

Jim

Most likely, the grill is plastic with either a chrome sleeve on it. Or it is painted.

On the grill, you should be able to use the NEVR-DULL. I like Nevr-Dull but these days I usually just apply car wax to the chrome grill and that seems to clean and brighten the chrome just fine.

As for your wheels, the Acura website says your wheels are aluminum-alloy. Just keep them clean and they should stay shiny. If you want to boost the shine and/or maintain the shine, apply a coat of heat-resistant wax on the wheels and only use soap and water to clean them so you don't strip the wax. It's what quite a few of the forum members do. One example would be Klasse AIO which is good for wheels. You would also be able to use the Klasse AIO to polish the chrome grill on your vehicle.

I agree with the other poster. I posted a detailed description of my process for sealing my alloy wheels. I believe you can view all my posts and find it through there or search mercedes wheels and it should pop up

on my wifes Fusion, I use a AIO for the chrome that is on the grill with great results.

AIO is what I would use too. Poli-seal or Duragloss 105 with a small foam hand applicator.
