09 Altima Detail

I detailed an 09 Altima on Tuesday for a co-worker. She has two little kids and as you can see from the pics she hasn't cleaned the car since she got it. There was mashed munkins in the seats, melted crayons, melted blowpops, dounut sprinkles and candy all over the place. This was mainly an interior detail and I just gave it a quick wash on the out side.

Products/Tools used - (going by memory as its a pain for me to walk to the garage wth my crutches)

Mequirs Gold Care Wash
Chenile Wash Mitt
Two bucket wash system with grit guards
1z leather care
Stoner Invisible Glass
Various Brushes and MFs
Detail King Pearl Interior Detailer
1z cockpit premium
Wet/Dry Vac
Adam's Carpet Spot cleaner
Detail King Trim N Tire dressing
Super Degreaser - Diluted 3:1

I just used the adams carpet spot cleaner for a few spots. The floors were actually pretty clean. It was the floor mats that I had to spend a little time on, but everything came out fairly easy.

what did you use on the front, for the bugs? were they baked on? i have an altima and i cant get the bugs off. i've used zaino, megs apc, special brushes, sponges etc. cant seem to get them off.

I used my car wash soap and a bug sponge like this one..

Professional Bug Sponge 2 Pack - Remove bugs from car paint with bug & tar sponges. Scrub insect remover. Clear coat safe.

Try claying, I find that removes the last of bugs that I cant get off otherwise.
