$1,000 Prize up for grabs when we hit our 1 millionth post!

AG would've kept it hush hush and just announced a winner as a surprise imo... But I suppose their goal was too increase activity and get more people to sign up.
Very cool none the less

Dear Friends

Do we still need rotary polishers?

I saw the Dewalt 849 on a Lightning Deal for US$137.xx on or around Black Friday. I don't know whether to regret passing up the deal or not.

What would make it more surprising /cruel is if 100 posts or so before 1 million the post counter was removed and put back after the fact

I'm a child of the 80's, I know excess, LOL, I wanna win!

I posted a similar comment, maybe the winner will get a shout out on "My Classic Car"?

Just my opinion and a guess. However, with the machines that are out today.

A Detailer at a body shop still needs a Rotary.

From my experience. The throw is to big on a Rupes to he used all the time instead of a Rotary.

Just my opinion.

I'll try and take pictures next time. My Rupes 21 was very easily able to remove 1500 on a repainted bumper, but the Dewalt took over on tight areas on the bumper.

If need be, you cam tilt the Rotary on it's side to get into really tight areas. Tilt the Rupes on it's side and you might knick the paint. I know because I did it, and then switched to a Rotary to take out the knick.

Again just my opinion from what I've learned taking a Rupes and using my Rotary at the body shop.

Everybody is probably like me, the chances of winning are slim. But it's still a really neat thing to do!!! I can only imagine getting that email or PM.

I'm guessing that this is the most active thread in the forum right now. Won't be much longer.
