Hahaha. Well actually, when I made my prediction I assumed there'd be a steep 'lull' as people waited to post until the count got high enough, followed by a (much smaller than what actually happened) spike in posts. So I was figuring it would even out to the same post/day as usual.
 
oh dang, the software that counts the posts malfunctioned and we cannot distinguish who won...guess we'll have to try again at 2 mil. Wouldn't that suck?

I received 194 e-mails on this thread ALONE.

I automatically subscribe to every thread I post in AND get instant e-mail notifications; that's the way I do all forums.

P.S., I have zero unread messages in my e-mail inbox; I also NEVER delete emails. Presently I have 53,000 e-mails in my 4 year old e-mail account. Each one has been read! (Even if only rapidly skimmed like the ones from this thread!) A big chunk are from forums and some junk, but a lot of it is professional as well; it really piles up!
