I was very excited to get to work on this one of a kind factory painted Signal green Audi R8 V10. This car doesn't have very many miles on it, but it does have a few factory defects that needed addressed.

We started with the wheels using Sonax Full Effect which is a Safe and pH balanced wheel cleaner.

This wheels cleaner is designed to turn a redish color when it reacts with the Iron particles of the brake dust.

Using our Ez Detail brush we were able to get inside the wheel barrels real good.

After all of the wheels were cleaned, We then Pre-rinsed the car down to knock off any loose/heavy debris.

Next we gave it a foam bath

Brought the car to clay bar and tape up

then David took the air force blaster and blew all of the water out of the crevices while I dried the panels with a microfiber towel.

Using my Griot's 6in DA and Cyan LC pad and M105 I started on the soft black painted section.

While I was working on the rear section of the car, David was cutting the paint with the Megs Microfiber cutting disc and D300

here is a section of the Driver Quater panel that David did a 50/50

Slight haze left behind from the cutitng disc and D300 which will be polished out, but overall the correction was great

For the Taillights, I used a Rotary buffer with 3in Gloss-it BP and a Cyan 4in pad with M105 followed with M205 on a Tang pad.

here are some scratches on the edge of the rear wing

Making our way around the car I chose the Griots 6in DA with the Microfiber DA system

Some scratches were a little deeper and required a little more cut, so for this i used a Surbuff pad and M105 compound

After cutting and polishing (polished with black LC pad and M205) the car, we pulled it back out side to wash off and remove any dust and compound from the jams.

Then we pulled the car back inside and I began to seal the paint with Black Fire Wet Diamond and David Used the Black Fire Midnight sun on the Carbon Fiber in the Engine bay.

You guys work on some amazing cars, and do equally amazing work. Thanks for sharing with us!!

Signal green, a very appropriate name. Wow that thing is visible.

It looked like in this picture you were using the Flex DA with the Microfiber system ... can you share your experience using the MF system on the flex?

Awesome job on a awesome car. Love these cars and really like the color. What pressure washer are you using in the picture? Does it power the foam cannon good?

Pretty sweet. Is that a setting on your camera or Photoshop that gives the effects? Guess I need to upgrade from my Canon point and shoot.

What effect? It just looks like a well detailed car to me.

The 6th picture down from where he started the afters. The car is sitting in front of the house and the background looks pretty cool.

Does good, both the GG 6in and the Flex get the job done. I'm not sure if I prefer one or the other. just depends on if I want to use a LOT of back muscle (Flex) or just a little (DA) :D

it is a Karcher 1300psi, not sure which numbers, but it does a great job with the Foam cannon.

No modifications were made to the pictures except the borders. that was just a good lighting situation. all pics were taken with a Nikon D3100 on this car. I all other cars were taken with a Nikon D3000 and I have recently bought the coolpix p500 nikon. all do good but I really liked the D3000. but the new P500 will take 1080 video.
