i have a black 02 mustang and got a porter cable for xmass . there is alot of spider and rids on my car. i did a test spot with 105 and it cleaned up just about all the scratches . My question is 105 good enough for a finish or will i see better useing 205 ?I cant see how it can be any better with 205 other than giving me some more depth in the color . I had planed on useing 105 then 205 then either m82 or m03 then wax m26. i know i could just try to use 205 but i have alot of spiders and rids . The car has a nice shine to it but if you really look you can see scratches everyware .I just bought the car and it took me 40 hrs by hand to get the shine back . but once i got it to shine then all the scratches were there . looks like many yrs of auto car washes.
