It was fantastic to be in the shop at Attention to Detailing with this amazing machine. A 1 step correction was employed to freshen the paint after 11 years of combined daily drive and track duty. The car was protected with Crystal Serum Light to aid in removal of rubber and other debris picked up at the track. The car was also given the full photography treatment to document the incredible condition the car is in following winter mechanical, body and paint work.

We opted for a 1 step correction to bring back gloss and clarity while avoiding heavy defect removal given the car's dedicated track duty. This process effectively removed overspray from some paint work recently done and the lighter defects in the paint.

The carbon fiber rear wing was polished to perfection because I couldn't help myself.

Some after pictures in the alley:

This car is really an amazing build. It started off life as a daily driver and has slowly been upgraded for track duty. At this point it is no longer street-able and will likely turn the rest of its miles on the track. I am a racer at heart and this project is the type of thing that I am all about.

My favorite part of this project was the full photo shoot when we were done. The car revives memories of the #15 Boss 302 raced to victory by Parnelli Jones in the 1970's and features his signature on the dashboard. This Mustang underwent many mechanical and cosmetic repairs in the off season culminating in the detail above. Its pristine condition warranted a photo shoot to capture the memories and the passion that goes into building and driving such a machine.
