I have detailed this boat during the month of July, but somehow forgot to post it up on the forums  This boat was badly oxidized and was looking yellow when it rolled in. We started with a wash, thereafter we polished it all up ( some areas machine polished and some areas hand polished ) and finally we applied Menz PL by hand. We also cleaned the inside of the boat, cleaned the dirty white leather and treated them with Megs Gold Class. This boat looked brand new when it rolled out

As suspected, the owner was overwhelmed by the outcome on this !!

Comments welcome

Do boats have a gel coating? And if so how different does it respond to polishing vs a clear coat on a car?

Nice work!!! What product did you use to clean the leather?

Thanx man. Used APC mix and a brush to clean and then finished with Megs Gold Class :props:

Great job ! How long it took for a job like that !

Took me a whole day to complete. Less work than a car TBH

Very nice results!

Awesome restoration to this boat...

Thanx for the feedback guys :xyxthumbs:

Yes it has a gel coating. From what I experienced, you can't remove scratches from this, just cleanup and restore the shine that used to be on there !!

Very nice! What did you use to polish? (machine, products, process)
