You know what? I had forgotten to mention that I also tried something new with this car. Before washing it, I sprayed the top surfaces with white vinegar (100%) out of a spray bottle and let it dwell while I let the bug spray dwell at the same time. It was then rinsed and washed. I didn't do much in terms of lessening them as they were old, but I figured it was worth a try. Yes, to answer your question, the Shine Supply compound effectively and quickly eliminated them. They were MUCH easier to remove than those horrific swirls were.This is a great work indeed. I'm wandering how do you get rid of that nasty waterspots? Does compound and wool pad can eliminate those waterspots? I always wandering how to remove stubborn waterspots without using acid such as HF.
I will send you a PM with TB purchase info. Too bad AG won't carry them. <sigh> In my opinion, if you are doing heavy cutting, you must anticipate dust. You are literally grinding away some clear, so where does it go and in what form? Dust. It's worth it to me to get the results I want and an easy ONR wash takes care of that. I think people make too big an issue out of dust, but again that's just my opinion.Another fantastic job! I bet the owner was blown away with all that is involved in the correction process. So, what are these TB pads you guys have mentioned? I may have to check out Shine Supply, also. I used to use M105, but couldn't handle the dust storm it created, so I moved to FG400 as I loved Menzerna's SIP, which was always buttery smooth. The FG400 doesn't always like to cooperate, though.

- how was the work time of ChopTop? It is diminishing so the usual 4-6? How was pad gumming up and cleanup ?
As far as AG carrying shine supply, I don't think That would happen. SS has its ecosystem of small scale resellers who offer an agreed upon reselling terms so that it doesn't favour one vendor over the other. Corey is the only exception among the stockists and even he has to abide some restrictions or I should say play nice (no discounts, added shipping etc). Corey told me about it.
This In my understanding doesn't fit PBMG model to resell (the kind of sales and discounts they do) and SS isn't big/in-demand enough to be added to the exception list along with RupesAll this is My opinion though.

I believe the wool is the same. The stitching on the back of the 3D ones is better, but I've never had one come apart on me and I've been using the TB pads for many years now. It looks like 3D has dropped them however. I can't find them on either the 3D US or Canadian site. They've got some yellow one now. I'm not interested in trying it.
Interesting with the selling of SS stuff. When you Google it, the only hits I got were for Corey's site (which I would rather deal with as I'd be ordering other stuff from him anyway and I hate having to only order one thing and pay shipping for that!). The other retailers need to do a better job of showing up on a search. The working time was great; just like M105 or their Flat Top.
No, the CT did not dry up or get gummy. M101 will do that for me, but CT was better. It was honestly a real pleasure to use. No kidding.
