1940 Ford Coupe prepped for the Legend's Cup by Competition Ready!


Here's some pictures of the 1940 Ford Coupe we prepped for the Legend's Cup at the Chicago World of Wheels show this weekend!


Process

Step 1: Wipe car clean using McKee's 37 Waterless Wash on the Go

Step 2:Clay paint using Mckee's 37 Universal Clay Lube and Mckee's 37 Universal Clay

Step 3:Machine compound paint using McKee's Fast Compound

Step 4:Machine polish paint using Mckee's 37 Fast Polish

Step 5:Machine jewel & seal paint using McKee's 37 Jeweling Wax

Simple process with spectacular results on any paint with any tool
This is a simple 3 step process from start to finish if you only count the machine applications of the compound, polish and jeweling wax.


Zero dusting - long buffing cycle - easy wipe off
These three products were used by the entire team on the set as we filmed this episode for our new TV show. This was the first time any of the team members had used these new products. They, like you will notice no dusting, super long buffing cycles and easy wipe-off.


New on Velocity Channel in April!
Competition Ready will start airing in April. The premier episode airs Friday, April 22nd, Saturday April 23 and Sunday April 24th

Glad to see the premiere dates for the show, I know everybody here on the forum has been waiting!
 
It was a blast doing this car. I am at the show now and the owner is on cloud 9. He likes it so much there is dust on it but he is afraid to touch the paint. He did receive Top 20 plaque. Still has class judging left.

The show starts April 22nd I think Mike said and.i think we're on episode 3 or 4 ? I'm guessing.

So a week a new episode I would say mid may maybe, again this is speculation
