1959 Impala Demo Car for my next class...

F-78-14 which I believe would have been an 8.15-14...that's just a little before my time. I dealt with them but the 78 series tires had already taken over the market. Wheel should be 14x6.5.
I was so close. Just looked it up. OE was an 8.00-14

Thanks for the info. I am kind of mirroring the look of this car on my Biscayne (or as we call it around here "The Biscuit") and I went and ordered 15" rallys with H78 tires. To be honest, they look pretty big. Oh well, may have to sell it off for the 14's.

Hello, I hate to dig up such an old thread but I was wondering if you happen to know what wheel and tire size those are? If so that would be great.

NEVER feel bad about resurrecting a thread on this forum. In most cases the information in the thread is just as accurate today as when it was written.

And the pictures of the cars that have gone through our detailing classes are nothing short of phenomenal.

Nick will be starting a thread today showing just a few of the cars I've confirmed for the January class.

Looks like a fun project. If the wheels are 15x7's you may have some clearance issues with the H78's also. Looking forward to seeing pictures of the progress of the biscuit!
