1960 Austin Healey "Bugeye" Sprite, Meguiar's #7 to the rescue

I worked at a Lotus dealership about 10 years ago in Metro Detroit and we had a Bugeye Sprite on consignment that had a Mazda rotary engine in it!

As far as Yugo on the Dragon....LOL! IIRC those cars were carbureted and it would struggle, especially on the Skyway were it goes up as high as 1 mile elevation. That said, it would be funny to see a modded one though!

A Bugeye with anything bigger than its factory engine would be a huge improvement powe-wise. I'd love to see that Bugeye with the rotary engine, very cool.

I know not a thing about rotary engines, but do know they have a very high rev limit. I love modernized restorations, but hate to see good donor/original cars modded.

Regarding the Yugo, I changed my mind. I'd rather drive a Smart car around the Dragon. Preferably the Smart car I've seen on the web with a Hayabusa engine:)

Thanks Ron,

I really like little & micro cars. Not sure if this qualifies as a micro car? I really enjoy detailing them too. This tiny car's paint almost used all 16oz of Meguiar's #7.

It would take 13-14 Bugeye engines @ 45-50hp/50lb/ft (12.3L or 750 C.I.) to match your Z06's torque and hp:)

Nicely done. Dodo is such an interesting company...if I were a wax guy I'd be using more of their stuff cuz it's just so offbeat, in addition to working well. Always wanted to give one of the 'hard' versions of their waxes a try...
