This is a detail of a 1968 Porsche 356 Cabriolet that I did today. The car has been completely restored and was a joy to work on. I apologize for the crappy pics. I must have had the white balance set incorrectly

Time: 5 hours

Process:

Interior cleaned with Wooilte 10: 1
Leather dressed with Four Star Leather Conditioner
Vinyl dressed with Sonus Total Eclipse
Wash with Gilmour Foam Gun and NXT Wash
Clay with Megs White Clay
Polish with Megs #80 and UDM with Sonus Green Pad
Polish with Megs #83 and Sonus Orange 4 inch pad (spot correction)
NXT x 2 via PC with Megs 8006 pad
Tires dressed with EO Wet Tire Spray
Wheel Wells Dressed with Street Appeal Tire Dressing
Engine dressed with Stoners Trim Shine
Glass Cleaned with NXT Glass

I agree...even with the blue you still the great work put in the car..the paint looks like glass...and your interiors are always tops....

Absolutely gorgeous, one of Porsche's most beautiful cars ever designed.

Great job Pat. That car looks sweet and is in great condition.

What a fun car to detail. Looks awesome and very well kept. It would be a blast to take that one down the road. Nice job.

Yeah..the only downside of the whole day, beside me not having the camera set right was the fact that it was single stage paint. It was my first SS detail. Not something I am looking forward to again. My pads are still soaking...

Nice...that is such a classy vehicle...I like blue so I don't mind seeing all blue hehehehe...I was thinking the blue was because of the reflection of the vehicle :D

All joking a side it must have been a real pleasure detailing that vehicle. You don't see many of those vehicles...well at least I don't.

Thanks for sharing and the car looks good.

Is it wrong to hate the owner of that car?

On a different note, you posted that you applied two coats of NXT with a Meg's 8006 (yellow pad). Did you mean the 9006 (tan pad)?

No I used a Megs polishing pad...8006

Even with the "out of color" focus, the shine comes thru!! Great job....!
