1966 Chevelle drop top!!!!

THis is my buddys car. He is thinking about selling it and wanted me to go ver the paint. I was a little nervous, this is the first SS paint Ive ever worked. I could have used a more aggresive combo, but I was kinda scared. All in all it turned out pretty good. It had some mild oxidation on it and I got rid of that. Its not 100% swirl free, but it looks good and my buddy was thrilled. He even bought me lunch at work that night!!
Here is the process I used:
Two bucket wash w/ Megs GC
Mothers Clay bar
Sonus FX#2 with WG concours polishing pad
Nattys Blue

The pics dont do it justice. Itwas kind of hazy out, in person the car looks better!!
 
Love that car! How much does he want for it? This way when I dream about owning it I can be accurate. :)
 
Looking good. Did you also do the interior or just the paint? Hopefully he makes a little more money due to the condition of the paint. :p

Just the paint!! That was the plan, him getting a little more money!
