This was my first paint correction that I finish first!

History on the car the owner had it sitting in the Hot desert sun in California. Very heavy oxidation on hood and trunk and other places. It was so bad that some spots I could not get out because it was clear coat failure. He thought it was the original paint but it was not single stage paint except for the hood! Weird??? We started seeing some signs and found out it has been repainted and the owner said he kind of always thought it has been. There were some swirls mike said sometime you can not get them out because it is underneath the clear coat, But some spots look good.

Meguiars m205 polish

Pads lake country smart foam pad. orange and gold.

The owner said he has not seen it looking this good since he bought the car!!! Let me know what y'all think
 
Nice work!

That looks like a 1969 Torino GT. My first car was a '68 Torino. The grills have subtle differences between the two years, tail lights too. Ford changed the style for '70 and beyond.

Not my drive way went some where to take pictures ;) but some day I will have a driveway like that to make the car look better :) thanks!
 
Very nice! I think it's a 69 also. My dad had a 68 Mercury Cyclone that was the same body style.

Had American Racing Wheels on it with Orange Peelers Exhaust, man what a great sounding car:dblthumb2:
 
Very nice work and unique car.

My parents first new car was a '72 Gran Torino. It was a pale yellow. Then one night around '74 my dad went out, got drunk, and drove it into a bridge and totaled it. My mom wasn't to happy about that one.
 
Thanks everyone!! We did not except it to come out this good like I said some swirls we could not get out and some clear coat failure on the hood a little bit on the trunk. But besides that like I said he was very happy with it he said he has not seen this way since he bought it. I am going to see if what year it is and I will let y'all know I think y'all are right :)
