1985 Corvette Detail - Original Paint

Phase I:
XMT #2
XMT #1
Wolfgang DGPS

Phase II:
Poorboy's Natty's Blue

Most people thought I should top this color off with Liquid Souveran. Since the only thing I had previously used Natty's Blue on was my white trailer I thought I would try it on this color just for fun. I had previous waxed it with Pinnacle Signiture Series and I wanted to try something different. The Natty's Blue definitely added more depth and wetness to the paint but I think the Pinnacle Signiture Series looks a little better on this color. I'm still going to put a coat of Liquid Souveran on for fun (Phase III). Thanks for eveyone's previous comments and sugguestions. They are always appreciated.

I win, I win! :awesome: I suggested Natty's Blue and obviously Gary listened to me. :D

It looks great Gary. Seems to be very shiny with a lot of depth.

Looks great! can i go for a ride in the car next to it?

These are my favorite pictures, just look at the reflection very nice.

I don know Gary, looks like I'm going to have to try this wax on my Lexus. It looks good but I still like Luiquid Souveran.

Thanks for sharing.

Nica, Natty's Blue is a great wax for the money. I do like Pinnacle Signature better. I think Signature does go on and off a little easy and maybe has a slight edge in looks but you can't beat NB for the price. I love the smell of NB. Liquid Souveran is a great wax. I purchased a 128 oz bottle of it. I might put a coat on the vette tomorrow.

Nuke33 you can go for a ride in the Lambo if you ever come to Cape Coral.

Reddwarf, I thought you suggested Turtle Wax.

Jimmie, Thanks for the nice complement.

The car does look very good for it's age and is all original. I purchased it new and it seems like I have had it most of my life. It has been a great car with very few problems.

Phase II looks awesome, so much deeper. Can't wait until Phase III.

Gary,
the Vette is in sweet condition..The paint is wet with plenty of depth, with those ripples in the paint it resembles a pool of water..nice work buddy..

That paint looks really wet, and that Corvette looks really nice. That baby looks brand new.

Gary, it looks wet! Great job! But I still like that little yellow "toy" better.;)

Your Vette is outstanding. Very nice work, Gary.:applause: Thanks for sharing this with us.

Excellent condition. I don't even see new ones with that good of shine.

Thank you very much for the kind words guys. I put a coat of Liquid Souveran on the old vette today but I did not have a chance to take any more pictures. I took a friend of mine up to Sarasota to pick up his new Porsche. He already had 6 Porsches and this makes 7. His wife just shakes her head.

The Turtle Wax was a joke! I then did suggest Natty's Blue. If anyone gets a ride it should be me. :)

Reddwarf, I know the Turtle Wax was and joke and I was just kidding.

You Win!!! :) You can order anything you want from AG. The only bad thing is (in case you missed the fine print) you have to pay for whatever you order.:(

You can have a ride anytime you come to Cape Coral.
