1985 Corvette Exterior Original Paint Detail Phase III

Phase III
Pinnacle Liquid Souveran

Phase II
Poorboy's Natty's Blue

Phase I
XMT #2
XMT #1
Wolfgang Deep Gloss Paint Sealant

Putting a coat of Liquid Souveran over the Poorboy's Natty's Blue did not really do that much but I thought I would post a few pictures anyway. I think I'm going to stick with Pinnacle Signature Series on this car.

Here is a before picture of the interior. Everything is orginal and still works except for the floor mats which I replaced about 5-6 years ago. I ususally put Connolly Hide Care on the leather put I'm open for sugguestions. As always I apprecate you comments. The old Bose does not sound as good as it use to and I'm going to replace it when I get around to it.

I think she's awesome all original. The paint is so deep. To me Liquid Souveran is like adding another coat of clear. I really can't explained the look, LS makes the paint look thicker. That's why I love the stuff. I don't know what Max puts in it, all I can say it works.

As far as leather, I would look at Pinnacle Leather Conditioner. Trust me on this.

Very nice gary...I don't know if it's just me but it's hard for me to tell the difference, I mean the car looks great well maintained. I personally really like Liquid Souveran and I'm going to stick with it for any silver or white vehicle that I detail. The reason I say this is because my dad has a silver truck, one of my sisters vehicles is silver and a good friend of mine that wants me to detail his car is also silver. I'm quite happy with the way Liquid Souveran made my Lexus look.

That is one classy vehicle you got there, I don't know about you but I like the original stuff, my vote is to keep it just the way it is....just classic.

Thanks for sharing.

Looks Great Gary..another vote for Pinnacle Leather Conditioner..

theres alot of gloss and reflection in that Vette, its making the yellow Lambo look pale in comparision !

The lambo's dirty in the pictures with the vette and needs washed and a new coat of Souveran Paste.

I have heard a lot of good things on the forum about Pinnacle Leather Conditioner. I going to have to try it. It's about time for me to put yet another AG order together.

I want to thank everyone for all their comments and suggestions.

Gary..

The Vette looks very Wet...you did a great job on the paint..it is not easy to make silver glow like that...the whole car is spotless...Impressive

Truls, The car is over 22 years old now but only has 32,800 miles on it. It spent the 1st half of it's life in Michigan wear I did not drive it in the winter months. Also the company I worked for brought me a new company car every 2 years so it only was driven on the weekends from about April - October. Since I moved to Florida I have worked out of my house so it has never been a dailey driver. I have always taken 1st class care of it. It's a good example of what an old car can look like if you take good care of it.

Nica, the 2 pictures of the Lambo were pictures of it when it was clean and I had just put on a fresh coat of Souveran Paste. Killr made a comment that the Lambo was dull compared to the Vette. What I said was in the pictures of the Vette in my garage where you see the Lambo in the background the Lambo was dirty and needs washed and a freash coat of Souveran Paste.

AL-53, the car is darker then most silver cars. The paint on it has always looked very good. I have always keep it clean and waxed.

Thanks again for everyone's compements.
