1986 chevrolet camaro ss clearcoat??

Hey everyone,

My dad;s friend wants me to clean up the camaro. Its all orginal...i had someone telling me there is no clear coat. Anyone know by chance? I know our 2000 silverado has a hard clear..but this car im unsure.

The sites I checked out all say it does have a clearcoat.

thanks guys.. i looked it up to they saythats the year they went to 2stage. Ima hit it with the white pad first to see how strong she is
