1986 Porsche 911 Cabriolet, 2-step paint correction

Great work restoring a beautiful classic. That paint really pops now. Keep it up!

Did the thought of using M7 cross your mind before compounding and polish just to infuse some extra oils into that paint?


Also, seems I recall a show-n-shine by Joe@SuperiorShine doing a red Porsche like that that was badly faded. Seems like I recall him writing that he used M20 or M21 (which ever has chemical cleaners in it I can never remember). I think he may have used only one type of pad too to remove the swirls if I recall correctly and I'm thinking it was a Meg's MF pad...mf polishing pad, maybe. I'd have to search for his show-n-shine to be certain of all that though. Perhaps you recall reading that from Joe.
