Hey! Just wanted to check in and share one of my latest fun and quick little jobs! This customer contacted me based of I detail I did for his friend and fellow Porshce owner. The owner owns serveal Porsche's and this one was his every other day driver! He wasn't concerned about perfect paint, he just wanted it really shiny, bring some of the red back to life! He knows he beats it up well, and driving it 3-4 days a week, it will take a beating, and its old! But that doesn't mean I couldnt bring some luster back to it. The paint was beat, but the inside he kept IMMACULATE, I was actually really surprised, apparently his wife is a neat freak and everything on the inside was spotless. So outside only job! :)

Products used:
UWW+ Rinselss Wash w/ UWW+ presoak
CG Sig Series Wheel Cleaner for Wheels and tires
CG NonSENSE to clean trim
Raggtop to clean and protect the top
NANOSKIN Fine Grade Sponge to prep the paint
Megs Ultimate Black on Trim
Blackfire Gloss Enhancing Polish to clean, prep and give some minor hiding of swirls
Blackfire Crystal Seal as the first layer of protection
Blackfire Midnight Sun as the topper

Those 80's Porsches are my favorites. I just love that goofy body style! Especially models with a more distinct 'flare' on the rear wheels.

Nice! Has that awesome BF wet look
Agree, it was like the one rainy day in LA, I was sad there were no good sun shots.

Awesome job. I would of loved to see this fully corrected.

Me too, my wallet also. I think though because this is his daily driver basically he accepts it. His other cars more collectible ones are very well kept. But I'm talking to him soon, I'm hoping we could at least do a light polish to knock some stuff out.

Agreed. They're great looking, and fast!

Looks great bro, nice work!!!

Many thanks man.

Nice job. The results look great and a real nice deep red color.

Man it's getting cold over here! Not used to cold weather at all. Getting winter tires put on my old wheels Wednesday. Cars are doing great.

My 335i is loving the cold air and the Autobahn to stretch its legs....
I hope you took some sweaters! Haha I'm glad you're doing well, now you can experience winter washes! :xyxthumbs:

Thanks man!:dblthumb2:

Chris, you did awesome man! I love those cars.

One day I hope to work on these. Now that red is popping.

Thanks so much man! Much appreciated.

It is a great car, considering how old it is and the guy drives it a bunch, it still drives great. We took it for a spin. I love the headlights most, my favorite feature of the car for some reason. :xyxthumbs:

I just viewed your thread, those iron x shot are awesome, yet gross showing all the fallout lol!

Man I like them too. Reminds me of anything classic with those buggy eyes. I always like the rear end of them. That slope and roundness.

IX..bitter sweet. Was gross but was satisfying at the same time.
