1987 Chevy 4x4 Extreme Makeover

Oh man...

The studio sounds like a Hornets Nest with all the machines buzzing out there!

The paint is really shining up too...

I'll try to post a few pics using my camera phone in a few minutes...

:buffing:

I bring the life to the party.

As soon as thing slow down though I'll probably post some detailing write-ups showing products and techniques and along with it more parts of the truck.

Looking forward to it!

I kept the 454 out of the Jimmy and after a fresh rebuild and a set of adjustable valve trains it's going in and the 350 is going away...

That thing will be a beast! The 700R4 may get unhappy with all that torque.....

It felt really good to do something for Mike this time!
He deserves what we did for him after all he's always there when we need something, whether it be technical help, borrow a tool or backing plate.
Mike does so much for the detailing community that I was totally gonna be there for his truck!
Mike, thanks for being a friend and I'm glad you were happy with the results!
You truly deserve the best and the "A" team pulled it off!

Robert you are so right, Mike has always been there for all of us, especially those of us that live in the Stuart area. Whether by phone, email, website or when we stop by the office he makes himself available the best his busy schedule allows. I too knew that I could not and would not miss this chance to give a little back to the guy that has given so much to myself and others, an not asked for anything in return by the way. Mike thanks for being such an good friend and I am also glad you are happy with the results.

BTW Guys did anyone do the tailgate's 2nd step process?

I do my best and that's because I love the car hobby and also the comradery with other's that share my passion for a nicely detailed vehicle...

Likewise and back at you Paul... have always appreciated your help with all the projects we've tackled and your friendship...

I didn't? The paint looks good though... I'll double check in the sun today and with a Swirl Finder Light. Hopefully I'll get a chance to give her a fresh coat of wax this weekend to maintain that just waxed look!

And for what it's worth... it's a BLAST to drive!
