1989 Black Ford Mustang GT: oxidation??

Clear coat was not offered on Mustangs until 1990 and it was only on select colors. That black, if it's original paint, should be single stage.

Interesting, I had a 1989 LX 5.0 in charcoal grey. Could have sworn that was cc paint. But then again, I sold the car 23 years ago... so I may have slept since then. :)

Anyway, send us some pics when you finish the car. Interested to see how it came out.

We'll hang tight guys. Hopefully she doesn't feel ill from my price quote.

But yes I agreed to take on this job because I hope to also see the finished product.

I'd probably add IronX to the recipe if you want to do a really good job. MF pads will cut the buffing time down a lot.

Being that it's black single stage paint, I think it's going to come out really nice. Put some DGPS and nuba on that and it's going to look like a completely different car.
I wouldn't even waste iron x on that, stuff is so expensive lol.

So, did this ever happen??

Hang on to your seats.

This client has two other cars she wants done.

I did a recent post with HD SPEED, regarding a Red Toyota Corrola.

Her roommate saw it and now wants his toys done.

So needless to say, people are now hooked onto the shine bug and the mustang will get loved, it is a matter of when.

She wants to get her black 2004 f-150 done first.

Trust me, I can't wait either.

Thanks for following!
