I cleaned up my 1991 BRG Miata. Everything is original, mostly stock, just a solid survivor (can you say that when its only 30 years old)? Shocks and springs have been changed, the shock tower brace is a factory part from a 1999, the radio antenna has been changed, otherwise its as it left the factory 30 years and 63,000 miles ago. I used Wolfgang Total Swirl Remover, then Wolfgang Finishing glaze. I then used Carpro Eraser. Wolfgang Deep Gloss Paint Sealant followed. Finally two days later Adams Buttery Wax (hey I had it and have never used it). Interior I used DP Total Interior Cleaner, then DP VLP Coating. I don't drive the car in bad weather or wet roads. Last year I maybe put 2,000 miles on it, I don't expect to put much more on it this year. For maintenance and before any events or shows I will use Blackfire Carnauba Spray Wax. Engine bay is lots of elbow grease, and Adams Super VRT.

Thank you both. It’s not a perfect car, there are enough imperfections to start driving you crazy if you let them. What it is is a very solid presentable car. I can drive it and not worry about a few miles, or a stone chip. From 5 feet away though it’s almost perfect. :D

Nice work! That color combo is amazing!

Maybe its the newb in me, but when people apply a wax some days after an inital sealant coat, are they washing the car again before applying the wax (because of potential dust)?

Gorgeous!!! Just missing the factory optioned Nardi wood steering wheel :)

Beautiful car and work! I love the interior, that’s probably a combo I would have picked back the day.

In my case, yes.

Thank you, and I did a waterless wash. It sat in the garage Monday till Wednesday.
