1993 Ford Mustang Reef Blue paint correction complete

Hello everyone!

I don't recall sharing pictures of my most recent work. Sorry if I did, I couldn't find a thread on it.

Either way I'll share!

This is a one year only color, Reef Blue. We bought the car about two years ago. It was a 1 owner with 27k original miles. The paint was in really bad condition. Some areas felt like sandpaper. Unfortunately, there are some areas that can't be fixed. But it turned out amazing.

I spent roughly 23 hours starting out with clay bar, followed up with a a 3-step paint correction.

Please be nice, only done 3-4 cars so I'm still learning.

I took some close up pictures to capture the scratches and marring on the paint.

I've had some friends ask me about detailing their car, but I'm unsure how comfortable I'd be doing it. And what would a job like this cost normally?

Yeah I was on night shift. So I stay on nights on my days off. Best way to keep me busy and staying on the same work schedule.

That does make sense! But no, I have plenty of free time. I work 12 hour shifts, so only 14 days a month.

I seem to get more done at night. Less distractions with the wife and doggies.

Great work - I dimly recall having a rag top in that color - white leather seats with the blue that a son drove for homecoming (team colors)
