The Vette has a nice milky glow to it now. Man that thing was covered with bugs. Your customer must really like white cars.
Thanks for the write-up.

Thank you all!

The they have a boat as well that they need done. It's a 22' Carolina Skiff that is trailored, so it has no bottom paint left after this season. Go figure the hull is white.

Does anybody have any suggestion about bug removal? I washed then clayed the front bumper, but is there any wash or spray that will help break that stuff down. I spent an hour claying and using a fine cut on it.

That and a safe scrub sponge.
I do not even like white cars, but you made that white glow, very nice job!:righton:
Oh yeah, I forgot the safe scrub sponge. :p

I'm with Meghan on white cars. They just don't seem all that rewarding to me when it's done.

Nice job on that 'vette. white is not as rewarding as a dark colour; the best one can hope for is a nice glow..you certainly succeeded there!! :applause:

I have always said white is a boring color and hard to keep clean. The last two white vehicles I've had to detail were nightmares. The reward is not so great but I was happy with these results.

the sig series looks great on there.Did i tell you the sig series was nice!

The Sig Series II is nice. I also have the Liquid Souveran, and that's so easy to use. Both have given me great results. I think I'm going to pick up the Pinnacle Souveran Paste and try it as well.

PB Bug Squash diluted 3:1 will break down the bug problem.
To answer your clay lube question I'd get a clay kit that comes with a lube. Mothers and Megs both do.
After polishing consider DG #105 topped with AW for white cars. It's WOW.

LOL. Disregard most of my post. I was thinking about another thread. The car looks great.

Looks great! I agree....that white has a milky glow! Couldn't have said that better!

i dont think anyone likes doing white cars. i read i think it was on the meg forum that not even mike phillips likes doing white cars. he tries to dodge them as much as he can
