that's a cool smiley... only problem, it washes before a rinse!!!

Awsome work as always Nica :) - Quick q... what kinda tape is that ? like the name brand of the blue tape? Reason i ask is i used green painters tape on the minivan and its the most delicate one yet it peeled osme plastic surfaces.

Thanks

Great job, carlos!! You have come such a long way - wow. I sure haven't!! i enjoyed your pictures and all.
Ok, now that it looks so good, go trade it in. Come on, Carlos!!!! Lamborghini!!!!!

Nica, outstanding work! you posted so many pictures, that almost like watching a video:D
Love it! I really like Wolfgang leather twins. Outstanding quality products exceed your expectations.
Quick question, what are those W, S, E buttons?

Gary - lol...no more lights  hahahaha actually my friend who owns his own lighting company is getting me better lighting. Well at least that's what he told me lol..not sure if I want to switch becase it might be true about me wearing shades when I step in the garage but hey they are for free, can't say no to that deal. Oh yea, the plates. I learned that one from you Gary. I learn from the best ;)

sneek - Hey that's right, you haven't used my Metabo...you used the Cyclo and the Makita. I would agree with you the triger is nice, but I just can't seem to put the Metabo down hahahaha...oh well...what can I say I got used to the Metabo hahahaha. I'm sure I could get used to the Makita if I use it the same amount of time as the Metabo too. Oh abut your shades, no I didn't find them in the Jeep...I even cleaned it out..well I vacumed it and gave it a nice wipe down...sorry about your glasses..I wonder if you left them at Jims house? Oh I was goign to phone you today as SiliconX phoned me to help him out with his vehicle but then it didn't go through. SiliconX said he had no time today so maybe some other day all three of us will get together.

Dust2Glory - Man thank you for the compliment bro, means a lot to me...really I mean that. lol...yea about the head lights hahahaha...poor things needs replacement lol. There all cracked and faded. Glad you liked it, means alot to me. I'm a big fan of your work bro, keep sharing your stuff...becuase I love seeing your work.

HighEndDetail - Oh she paid me good, I got a nice diner and a very relaxing Sunday ;). Glad you liked it.

matteo86 - The name of the tape I use is Clean Release, Multiple Surfaces Painter's Tape...that's exactly what it says on the wraper...oh it has a picture of a small duck too...just in case that helps. I've used the green tape too but I found it sticks to much and leaves way to much resedue. This tape comes off really easy and it sticks good on the plastic peases, even if I dress them before I tape. I've used the Scotch Blue Painters Tape and it's not the same, it's quite sticky and leave resedue. Hope this helps and I'm glad you enjoyed the detail.

ltoman - Thank you Lauren, for the kind words. But to be honest I'm not better then you or anyone else. I just like to test my self that's all. Besides, I am the way I am because most of you helped me along the way. So my success is all thanks you guys/gals. I remember I would send e-mail to Lauren bugging her about what to do next, not only her but a few others too. Actually it's funny you say trade it in, becuase my wife was talking about that today hahahaha. I think I'm going to have to wait to get my Lambo :( it's okay though I'm to yung to have a vehicle like that...I need to grow up a bit more...don't want to spoil my selft roten :o besides I don't want to send the wrong image to my little girl...I need to take baby steps.

supercharged - lol...dooo I for got to post the video hahaha teasing :D. Oh, the Volvo has different setting for the transmission. Apperently it's a feature that Canadian Volvo's get. Not sure if it's true or not, but the here is what they mean (acroding to the manual):

W = Winter driving conditions, what it does when you step on the accelarator the vehicle's transmission starts off at second gear to get better traction during winter conditions or slipery conditions. Oh it's a rear drive, nto a front drive.

S = Sport driving, it's to give the vehicle that extra boost when accelerating.

E = Economical, it's supposedly the seeting for best fuel efficiency.

I normally just keep in in E, and I do notice a differnce in W during winter...but I hardly take it out during winter. I haven't paid much attention to the S though, hardly ever put it on S.

Aww, Carlos, you're a sweetie. No, you truly are one of our very skilled crowd here; you are amongst those with the touch here - not I. But that was too kind!!! (hug)

Yah, trade it in! Get the Lambo if you want it. It's a short life!

Luv,
Lauren:p
Carlos rocks!

:(:( they won't be at Jim's house. I thought I might have left them in that day we went to Market. * sigh* this is the 2nd pair i have lost in 2 months. The nes i lost in June were custom half Jackets :(:(

I am up for a meet!! Just not this week :(:( I got a job, almost by accident. At that Canadian Tire in Dalhousie. This time I am not even working in parts! but let me know!

Wow Nica, if my uncle saw this he'd want you to detail his Volvo I bet :p. It's good you're going to fix that front end :).
You know me, I love pictures. It isn't too much at all. The results are great, and the finish is perfect. The wheels are brightened up really really nice. I also love that dark green color. That car just looks brand new and happy. The engine bay is looking attractive as well. I bet your wife is really happy about her car and I bet she feels like it's brand new. Take her out for a spin, I bet people would stare at how excellent the vehicle looks :D.

Wow Carlos you really turn it around, love the reflection you got going on. Love all the pics and write up. You can detail my vehicles anytime. You are always taking it to the next level. There is no way I can top your work. I'm very impressed with all of it. All your cars, is the Volvo your baby? IMO these two are the best pics of the paint. Love this reflection/mirror look.

ltoman - thanks babe, back at you :grouphug:

sneek - So your working at Canadian Tire, sweet....oh I need a new 12 gauge extension cord....can you hook me up please? Let me know when your at work...um...can I get discounts? ;) I like going to Canadian Tire, that's where I get my tape and other little things :righton: man this is going to work out great for me....I mean you hahahaha just kidding.

klumzypinoy - Thanks buddy, glad you liked it. Wife was really happy with the results. She helped me remove the wax, I applied she removed. Good combo. I wanted to take it out for a spin, I took it out to take the pictures and then as I was looking over it I just couldn't bare the thought of getting it dirty so back in the garage it went hahahaha. This weekend I'll take it out for a drive, wife want's to go to Banff.

sparkie - Hey it's my main bro spark dude!!! Wassup buddy? Oh...:o ...thank you bro for the kind words. But I learn from the best, you were another person who I bugged lots when I was starting. I like the work you do too spark dude, always learn something from you and many other members. Glad you like the review and the pictures. Yea the reflection is wicked, I'm happy with it. I purchased the Volvo for my wife, she likes driving it...hahaha she dosen't like driving my Jeep hahaha. Must admit the Volvo is quite roomy and very confortable. Glad you liked it sparkie.

Ahh yes the thought of getting it dirty  haha I'd be doing the same thing as you. I woulda probably just took it down the street and back up and put her back in the garage :p. I'm glad your wife loved it. THat's really cool how she did the wax residue removal. Did she have fun doing that? I hope you have a nice drive. I'm sure you'll turn heads :D

Another great job, Carlos! I'm guessing that this is the same Volvo that you did one of your first Show n Shines on? I remember that it had all kinds of spots all over it, before you did anything. She's looking great! That interior and engine as well. That engine bay looks spotless!

Hey Carlos I'm surprise you haven't tried any paint chip repair yet. I'm sure master Toto will give you a few pointers.

:( I don't even get discounts yet hahaha, It will take me another month.

klumzypinoy - Wife is liking the removal of the wax, I have to admit it's nice to have her in the garage with me, we just talk about "stuff" that we normally ignore on our daily conversations and it's a nice time to catch up on new ideas that she or I have. I call it quality time with the wife, it's a nice time. In one of the pictures you see a green vehicle in the back ground well that's one my accross the street neighbor and when he saw it he saw the Volvo he came and was shoked to see the results. He told me he wanted me to do his vehicle...I told him one of these days I will. He dosen't care for his vehicle, he drove his front end through a wooden fence..that's how much he loves his vehicle...lol..I call my "goof ball neighbor" lol...but that's just in my head lol :D

alban61 - Yes that is the exact same Volvo that was giving me grief the first time I detailed it, mind you it was the first time I was introduced to the PC and detailing for that matter. I didn't even do the interior, let a lone the engine bay. Glad you like it my friend.

Gary - I've been reading Toto's post about paint chip repair, I have a vehicle that would like for me to do some chip repears. I'll be probing master Toto soon about this :D. That's the beauty of this detailing, always something to learn.

sneek - What no discount..booo :( hahaha teasing. Well just thougt I'd ask though :D

Wow it's great you spend time with your wife while you detail :) I'm sure that is great quality time.
Lol your neighbor must "love" that vehicle. I had a feeling someone would be shocked to see that Volvo :). I don't have goof ball neighbors, but I do have some annoying kid neighbors :p

Nica, you're over the top with this one. Your work is very impressive and it's always fun to see all of your pics along with the review. The Volvo looks outstanding in the pics and is probably even more impressive in person. It's evident that you have a love for detailing and it shows in all of your work. Thanks so much for sharing your process and thoughts with us.
