Well, I received my order (SSII wax kit) a couple of weekends ago, but it's been raining here. Anyway, FINALLY got a chance to use the products for the first time. Here goes........

Before: notice all those gorgeous swirl marks??

2 orange LC pads, 1 white LC pad and 3 hours later, both the car and I are done.

Products used: (all products are pinnacle) Body Shampoo, Advanced Swirl Remover, Advanced Finishing Polish, SSII wax and the Crystal Mist. All applied with the PC 7424 and LC 5.5" orange (ASR) white (AFP) pads, and a grey pad (SSII)

Clearcoat failing here, need to fix that........

and my favorite....you can count the spokes of the white car in the reflection (just not in the pic though)

So, what have I learned from this?? 2 things really;

1. You get what you pay for. The "expensive" stuff REALLY does make a difference. The correct tool for the job, etc.

2. I need a better camera.

Great job....that thing is clean as hell. I still want to get one of those one day, gut it and make it a drag car. Has to have the wooden side panels, though. :D

Good job, that's alot of sheet metal. How long did it take you.

Just over 3 hours to "rub it out" another 30 or so to wax.

It's an Impala SS from the B pillars forward (same corvette based LT1 and trans) and I have run 13.8 all day in the 1320 with drag slicks:righton:. It's the perfect sleeper! 0-60 in just under 6 seconds.

Thanks for the compliments, from those that do this for a living, it means a lot.

Yup I know all about what they can do....as many on here know I used to have a fairly well-modded '96 Z28 w/full boltons, cam, 150 shot, built 4L60E / 3500 Vigilante, Moser 12-bolt, 28" Mickey Thompsons etc....all that good stuff :D

Excellent work ! And under 4 hrs using a PC7424 ! I would have guessed about 8hrs.

Cheers

Great work on the Buick, very clean and shine's great..........

Wow, under 4 hours for a car that size is a testament to the products and machine used and above all the talent of the detailer. Great job.

Thank you, but I have no talent. Just followed directions:buffing:

the credit goes to these products/machines. they really are amazing, they can make anyone (like me) look good:D
